NOW! Bali is a cultural magazine focusing on lifestyle, events, dining, culture, and more, based in Bali, Indonesia. The magazine is dedicated to showcasing Bali’s unique traditions, art, and contemporary attractions, providing both residents and visitors with an extensive guide to life on the island. Through articles, podcasts, and event coverage, NOW! Bali aims to enhance the appreciation of Bali as a vibrant and dynamic destination.
Videography
For NOW! Bali Magazine, we created a short-form video inspired by an article from their TIMELESS Magazine. The story focused on the Canang Sari, one of Bali’s most meaningful daily offerings. A symbol of gratitude deeply rooted in Balinese Hindu culture.
We translated this story from print to video, handling the entire production process from start to finish. This included researching the cultural background, planning and producing the shoot, filming on location, and editing with attention to rhythm, sound, and color.
The result is a visually engaging and respectful portrayal of Balinese tradition, adapted perfectly for social media.
The video showed left, reached 107K views, with 2,649 likes and 41 comments.
Photography
One of my favorite projects I have been working on at NOW! Bali is photography for events and articles. Thus, I was able to take several photos during the TIMELESS Event and the Djamoe Herbal Class. The photos of the Djamoe Herbal Class are also visible in the magazine of NOW! Bali.
